We acknowledge that you may be feeling distressed or angry in making a complaint, but we take a zero-tolerance approach to any abuse towards our staff. Staff safety and wellbeing are paramount to HDC. Offensive, threatening or abusive communications will not be tolerated and will be responded to accordingly. This may include issuing a warning, reporting a matter of concern to the Police, or modifying or restricting access to our services.

The NZ Relay Service is available for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, speech-impaired or deafblind and want to connect over the phone.
- Go to New Zealand Relay Service.
- Select the service best suited to your needs – Text Relay, Caption Relay, Speech to Speech services, TTY service or NZSL Interpreted services.
